British fine artist Jan Roe draws on elements of films, shadows, distortions and movement, to support her artistic experiments in photogram, photography, solar etching and two/three-dimensional sculpture forms.
Jan Roe and fellow artist Sarah Moore have recently collaborated with a striking stainless steel sculpture ‘Stepping Out’ commissioned for Millfield Sculpture Park in Somerset, UK. Roe and Moore were shortlisted for Clarks shoes’ public sculpture competition. Len Green, Director of Millfield Sculpture Park, said, "If Clarks don't have this sculpture then Millfield will.”
